Overheard from a JavaScript dev: why is there no React to Pytorch transpiler yet?

Few days ago a js dev asked me "wait so you write native PHP, and you don't have a build tool? It's there no better syntax, like sass or typescript"... uhh no... although now that you mention it, a PHP transpiler with a proper typing system wouldn't be so crazy...
