we spent days now cleaning years and years of trash in our db. we freed 100gb of pure nonsense, and we're still going. it feels cathartic. some tables i wanted to drop since i saw them for the first time

    Depending on database, taking a full backup dump and importing in a fresh database might be a good idea.

    E.g. unfreed memory in tablespaces.

    And yes, purgatory with napalm is always nice.

    We have a logging table that nobody ever looks at with a few million rows. Stack traces and json dumps.

    I want to clean it so badly

    But it’s not close to 100gb, I’m impressed
