Scrolling through and was reminded of something I despise - Windows Update. It always decides to strike while I'm on a tea break and I can't postpone it.

The amount of VM corruption I've had to deal with is ridiculous.

    Sincz i havent dealt with windows systems on a daily basis for almost a decade now... Why rhe VM corruption? Are you using microsoft's virtualization platform? What's it called again?

    Windows restarts the machine, so the VM doesn't get the chance to do a clean shutdown. I'm using virtualbox, but you're thinking of hypervisor I think.

    Check this shit out: start a cmd window as administrator and type this:

    net stop wuauserv

    Bam. No more fucking Windows updates. Don't forget to start it again though with "net start wuauserv". https://superuser.com/a/731553/...
