EULA proposition for broke developers with no legal knowledge whatsoever (like me): “By installing/using this software you agree not to sue me.”

    Over here being a broke anything is protection. The moment their lawyers figure that you have nothing, they tell them that it isn't worth it, and to move on. You can't extract blood from a turnip, or money from a broke person.

    @b-atanasov there's bound to be a free EULA generator / template somewhere on the internet...but turnips can't use Google 😁

    @Shodan Yeah, there is. They are all kinda shit though. I’ve actually gone through the process a multiple times. I have made it a rule that when I do contract work I make the EULA a part of it, so by that point I’m pretty fluent in it.

    However, I wish i could just write I am a turnip. I wish i was a turnip 😢
