Yes. I am one of those guys. After desktop hits ~1gb of b/s and 100+ files... yeah... I do this. I am not ashamed of it. I am living the life. I am free of clutter. I suck.

I switch out phones and computers so much that I've just started filling the desktop with per-device backup folders and working from them. I don't even put the files back when I'm done.

I have a folder inside, called "desktop backup". And inside that folder I have another folder, called "desktop backup". It goes all the way back to my childhood. When I go through it I feel like an archaeologist, digging up dirt layer by layer, only to discover some priceless artifact like my first webcam selfie that I used for my Yahoo Messenger profile photo.

@AndSoWeCode ... You are a genius! I should have a folder called "backups" and then name individual folders by the timestamp! Like, 20170719! Brilliant! 😂

@AndSoWeCode idem, but the name is "Other", with inside "OtherOther", with inside "Other2", with inside "Other", etc....

Good idea, put the backup of your data WITH your current data so if you lose your data, you lose everything and don't need to restore!
