As an undergraduate junior, programming beyond basic data types is very overwhelming. Web and mobile seem great. So does ML. Open source is amazing to use but scary to contribute to. Seriously, being a programmer or even trying to be can be hard.

As an undergraduate junior doing anything easier that big-O optimized sorting algorithms is boring as hell. Lol, I promised my fraternity a new website, before remembering front end web development is the most miserably dull thing ever. (Don't forget coding interviews)
