It does not say that chrome runs inside Linus. It just says that chrome update is available for Linus. Which means, that if he will go to Google's office, they will probably give a chrome's update to him. Google must love Linus very much to provide an update especially for him...

@Greggergalactic Because extensions are now obsolete. Google did announce a year or two ago that extensions will be gone from Google Chrome. I guess they are now put to sleep
