Why all mobile hotspot/wifi tethering implementations seems to be buggy as hell?
It doesn't matter if I'm trying to use an iPhone or an Android as the hotspot or what I'm trying to connect (PC/Mac/Nintendo Switch...) in most case to have the clients find the mobile phone and successfully connect trough it I have to restart the mobile hotspot multiple times.

    Most likely has to do with faulty captive portals.

    I'm working here with an old Huawei with data simcard as modem for my chromebook, two phones and a TV (Chromecast) with a stable connection for months. I'm amazed.

    The Samsung disables Hotspot if no clients connected for a while

    Some flagships turnoff the hotspot when the clients no longer connected.
