Sigh, I'm the "tech" side of the startup. When I explain things to my co-founder on what is/isn't possible, it's frustrating to have to explain how it wouldn't be possible without effecting something else.

i know that. Its especially annoying when non tech people ask you to "just add the feature x" like it would take only a few hours. Additionally, they forget that it also involves a lot of design back and forth and editing of everything else.

Tell him to imagine a body of water, now drop a pebble in it... see the riplles, those are the effects on the rest of the system. The bigger the rock the bigger the ripple :)

I feel you man. And they expect me to create the product from the ground up, release beta in three fucking months!
