Yeah a lot of senior devs come through only knowing subversion.
I'm the go-to for git help at my company. Especially cause the GUI apps have limited functionality.

@xsacha Yeah when I was trained we didnt use any of the GUI tools. We only used the CLI. Nowadays I sometimes use GitKraken because I find it faster for checking changes and staging files. But I use the CLI for everything else lol. I trust the CLI more than any GUI because I know exactly what I am running, whereas I dont know exactly what happens when I press a certain button in the GUI.
