Back when I was at uni, we had this group project based on data security.

At the first sit down meeting we had as a team, this one guy sat down and said "to be honest guys I'd be happy with a pass (40-50%) for this module"...

Well great.

    Don't settle for mediocrity.

First thing I used to ask on University group projects was: do you just want your grade or do you actually want to do some work and learn? Because I'm perfectly fine if you chose the first option and I do all the work (seriously) but do NOT chose the second option and slack it off.

It saved me a lot of team stress and in the end I knew more than if I had split the task. Of course sometimes I was in deep shit truing to do everything but well, I've survived, good grade, and with decent experience :)
