    @SimShady Since you're from Austria too: Where did you register your domain?
  • 2
    @filthyranter world4you, but it is the biggest shit I've seen.

    @SimShady Oh. Well, why? I just want to find a good registrar for a domain I want to register soon. I looked at their site and of course, they are pushing their hosting options way too much.

    @filthyranter world4you is for people who don't know shit about web-development. They get you with cheap products (so they got me when I was a beginner, I'm just too lazy to change), but then you have to pay for every extra shit.. you even have to pay for a php installation... Which means: they get money for a script that does apt-get install php5.. these pigs...

    @SimShady Well, I only want to buy a domain (annually) and nothing else anyway, and so far they're making the cheapest offer (without higher prices after <x> years) and also have the most suitable payment options... Are they at least okay for registering domains?

    Okay nevermind they have really hidden that well

    @filthyranter I use 1und1.de. I like it. Their cheapest hosting package is like 2€ a month for me with two domains. Direct debit, too.

    @miau Ew. Get away from me with 1&1.

    @filthyranter Can I ask why?
  • 0
    @miau Well, their customer support, no matter if their services include internet, hosting, or whatever, is utter crap. Uptime also was a big issue when I last checked.
