What is your opinion about courses?

I got into the world of development from the world of Sysadmining and security with 10 month long Java course and now doing web courses in my free time.
I feel this really helped me, as before I tried to learn completely by myself but failed. Now I feel much more confident learning by myself(albeit I still feel Noobish as fuck)

How did you learn? Did you take courses? Completely by yourself? Through work?

    Learning the basic first, practice the logic and algorithm. Switch to any language will be easy (even learn by yourself). Even better if you can learn through real project, don't afraid to make mistake, but learn the mistake to become an experience.

    That's how I learn this past 11 years.

    @clovislrex I'm looking to get into Sysadmin and security

    And tips?

    Decent (but not a pro) with Linux

    Still have to learn a lot but I'd like to say I'm probably the best in my uni 😂

    @kalolparty

    Learn Windows and Linux internals, Networking, and web applications architecture.
    Then proceed to learn about vulnerbilities and security methodoligies, do CTF's on virtual machine, prefarabely learn some reverse engineering too.

    Good luck

    Learn some before.
    Go through some course with a good diploma at the end.
    Continue learning stuff as you go.

    Courses can only take you so far, and are mostly useful only for the recognition they get. One should ALWAYS have that itch to test a new techno, or install a new OS, or just fuck around with what he already knows.
