    @benji24290 I refuse to revert from linux, it is the only true path to greatness

    @benji24290 the weeping and the falling asleep to computer fans is very familiar.

    @KidLaser Then you should repeat step 1

    Make a different partition for the windows installation. Prepare a choco script or even a disk image. Reinstall in about 1h.

    I've actually had to modify and recompile the kernel lol

    @benji24290 except linux isn't written in C++

    @ac1235 but a lot of kernel modules are written in c++

    @benji24290 lol, What do Sun Microsystems and Java have to do with the stability/performance of the Operating System or with compiling a Kernel or...?
    Never mind. Keep fighting the good fight. Linux is just a fad 😉

    Now, back to Windows debugging. Have you tried searching for a software update? Might wanna make sure your recovery disk is recent enough to avoid repeating the cycle over again soon enough.

    @CristCD What's choco or a choco script?
  • 3
    @ILMostro Search chocolatey. It's like apt-get, but really simple and for Windows. So you can have a PowerShell script just enumerating what you want to install and it will do it for you.
    Please, no need to say "Linux is better, etc"

    For Windows and Linux it was shitty drivers the whole time, you never even had a chance

    Never had to do this in Windows, it isn't 1998.

    @Wallpaper you have to restart every time you update (almost daily lol)
  • 0
    @Dacexi No you don't, only critical updates require a restart. If you have to update daily, you might have other problems 🤣
