Idk why, but to me, the design and looks of Skype app feels kinda messy and creepy :/

I just updated Skype on my iPhone the other day and for the life of me could not figure out its UI. What a piece of crap it's become. I mean I had no idea what was going on. All of a sudden it's showing me news and shit from around the Internet and I'm all like "I just want to call my sister…?"
