Fully blown out site with some very not so simple design requirements.

There are some admittedly *ok* features but honestly as a whole I think SF has to have one of the worst developer experiences I've come across when it comes to a CMS. The build times and frequency alone are enough to drive one mad. Shoddy documentation, half-baked MVC(especially razor views), nightmarish APIs, I could go on :)

What better ones have you used? I'm knew to integrating sites with third party CMS platforms.

@shittywebdev as far as asp.net goes I am a huge fan of Umbraco. On the PHP side I have been hearing good things about Craft CMS.
