is it a normal thing to have 117 table element on a html page? i'm to young? i heard it's was normal few years ago. or ppl coding this site are just shit?

i will probably go for this one

    It's fine if the tables are used to represent data. If it's used to design the site it either hasn't been updated for years or if it's still maintained like that the person in charge should be replaced

    If the html is not generated and the tables are used for design specific reasons than it's probably old code. I've worked with Drupal (worst CMS ever) and it generates a gazillion html elements. Not wrong per def, just annoying.
