Imagine if Visual Studio 2017 was made with Electron.. Fuck, it would be so slow

You can't make that piece of garbage slower. You just can't.

I haven't gotten into Electron to much but as far as I'm aware Discord uses it and it seems quite solid and runs well. Also Visual Studio Code I'm pretty sure uses it also and again that seems to work well enough? Am I missing something?

Well that is the main reason why I stay away from Atom and vs code. Slow af
