See this? Dont ever fucking tell me to use mongodb. Half the time this website is fucking broken and down. Imagine you have a production ready app that is now also fucked because this piece of shit is fucked. I always viewed anyone using mongodb as DUMB fking shitass script kiddy with a small dick helping bill gates to gangrape some kids at the epstein island

    This looks like an error in some service they use for their webpage, not with mongodb as such.

    I have used it quite a log and for the right use case its very good.

    @Voxera Actually CloudFront failed to reach the origin server, if the error rate is high it is something they handle, we use AWS at work and we don't have any issues with CloudFront not able to reach our origin servers

    They could at least add an error page when something goes wrong, CloudFront does support this, instead of showing the default one

    @gitpush it first of all took ages to load and then it threw this error. Every time its a new random error or the page cant load at all. Tired of this bullshit

    @Lensflare The logic is, if they can't even keep their own website up, why would anyone use their software?

    Assuming that their website is in fact powered by Mongodb, but in case it isn't, why would anyone use their software when even they don't?

    @Fast-Nop I don’t know man. Providing a database and keeping a website online are two different things. The availability of the website has probably nothing to do with the database. It could, but I don’t think it’s likely.

    @ostream So what OS are you using? Windows, macOS, most Linux distros have websites. What about your browser that doesn't have a website?

    @Lensflare my thought also.

    There are any number of things that could be the cause of the problem but if cloud front has problem reaching the origin, I think the DB is one of the less likely culprits ;)
