Is front-end developer (web developer) a well payed job?
I mean, how much is the average?
And it's a demanded job?

Depends on the project, of course. But I'd say it's a well-paid job. Websites are getting more and more complicated.

Stack Overflow has a salary calculator which might be worth a punt.

    1) yes. Understand that well paying is subjective. My friend got a mustang for graduating high school, I grew up in a house with floors falling in. The concept of wealth between us is different.

    2) you'll do better than scraping by. I live in North Carolina and the average pay for front end devs is around 70k, well enough for a nice apartment, semi-fast car, and savings fund.

    3) full stack pays more. There's absolutely nothing wrong with front end, it's actually my primary focus. But learn back end as you go. Thats how you really start to make money.

    4) understand that front end is frustrating. You'll have to learn many nuances, and the environment changes VERY rapidly. Make peace with never being "done" because to be valuable, you need to stay somewhat on the bleeding edge

    5) all front end devs need to know some back end, and vice versa. If you find out you hate it, then youre already hitting the ground running with your backend game!

    Best wishes
