silot927y@GodHatesMe well it depends. You don't have to be a dev guru to teach programming concepts. Coding styles and language usage are irrelevant at this stage. And better dev can mean lots of things.

htlr51307yYou might think so, even I did once and I never saw him coding but one fine day when I was talking about an algorithm with him the moment I finished the explanation he fucking brought the algorithm to life in matlab the same time I was explaining him. And fuck yea I was impressed!

Root797707yI've been better at coding than all of my teachers. Every single one, from middleschool through college.
However, I did have a decent teacher in highschool. He had a master's in programming (crappy programmer, though), but he was mostly cool and friendly and mostly good at teaching.
He still had his idiot moments (thinking explorer.exe was a trojan and sending me to the principal...), but overall I liked him. -
Adobo2027yIf you haven’t had crappy teachers, you wouldn’t realize that you’ve surpassed them and get ready to learn some more. Amirite?
