And this one, just before i change the default browser....

    Its just too much pushing

So Google gets hit with a lawsuit because it promotes its own products when its search is used (anticompetition laws), yet Microsoft is allowed to do this?

This is what you get for using bing :p
but seriously what the fuck is wrong with them? the user did use edge to download another browser, if it got his attention I wouldn't think download or at least installation will happen.

@Jop- guess thats why they are saying its faster, as chromium is on v8..

I agree its fastest so far
    To download chrome

    Nope because nobody uses bing

Is there a reason any of you don't use edge I've used it for a while now and haven't had any issues.

I just find myself switching to Chrome out of habit.

@vibsel agreed. I use it because my laptop freezes less when using it.

This behavior is scummy at best.
It should be up to users to decide.

I actually like Edge. I use it for personal stuff and Chrome for work

@prajankya it's even more funny if you think about how they thought when coding this!
"Uhmm... So no one will actually want to use Edge so we have to create like 10 popups so the user gets annoyed!"

@orto I like chrome for easier data feed to google.

I prefer developer options and all its features in chrome..

I tried mozilla for a while for developing, but came back just because I was wayy more used to chrome by that time..

    I never know if anybody uses edge for development ? @linuxxx, @gitpush, @orto, @duckduckgo?

@prajankya Nope no edge haha. I use Firefox mostly and sometimes Chromium (the chrome version which does NOT call back home) :)

@prajankya I had once to debug something and used Edge, it isn't bad but Chrome, and FF are much better in this, Edge still has the same as IE tools which are just bad. I honestly would recommend Vivaldi if you don't chrome as they both have almost same debugging tools
