The number of people using high end versions of mac just for working on some spreadsheet and watching videos on youtube is just too damn high..

Apple has a really poor performance to cost ratio.

People buy Apple computers for the same reason they buy Apple phones and tablets. They think, because of advertising, that they're the best product available. Apple have done a brilliant job in their efforts to appeal to people who indifferent or even hostile to the workings of technology. "It just works," is more than just a statement about functionality.

Ha, no. I, for example, use an Apple laptop for work, and it's a brilliant system adminstration and programming platform.

But I do think the stronger market segment is as I described.

Sure, it also gets you from A to B in the same amount of time, but if that's not the point by buying the product it's not really a fair comparison.
If people are buying a Mac because they like the feel of luxury, then I don't really see an issue as long as they're willing to admit that's the reason they bought it in the first place

@aaxa well they are all vehicles. Meant to take subject a from point a to point b. My issue with people making certain purchase is...none. because i am not them and they are not paying my bills or working for my money. What right do we have to condemn or judge others based on what they want? Shit man if some dude or chick wants a 2500 dllrs fb machine for whatever reason let them have it. @AleCx04 Sure they are, but so are bikes. Yet there is a huge price difference on those as well. My point is, that just because an object does one thing, doesn't mean that one cannot be better than the other.
