Firefox Quantum is the only software in beta stage I know of, that is more stable than the release one. I have to admit that I am somewhat of a fanboy when it comes to Firefox since I have been using it for the past 12 years. I never admitted it's quirks even though I secretly knew chrome had a better performance and stability lately. This rebirth gives me so much hope! YES! Firefox is not dieing!

I recently switched from Vivaldi to Firefox after hearing that they released a new beta. Yes it lacks in some areas but overall it satisfies me. And it's only a beta!

@MonsieurMan Actually Firefox 57 is faster than chrome for me...

Could it be that your code isn't well optimized for ff in some way?

I switched to chrome a while ago because of those annoying lag spikes I had on Firefox.... The beta change everything for me :D

@theCalcaholic Okay, I checked again - I think the current beta contains the new CSS engine, but not the Quantum DOM engine (which will be more relevant for Javascript). So you might want to check back in a few months. ^^

Nah, I've had some issues with scrollable areas. It's not more stable than release, just a bit quicker.
