Is it a bad sign when your employer has a multi-day, worldwide, "quality"event?

What is a "quality" event?

@Demolishun where everyone talks about "what is quality?"and/or "what can I do to improve quality." The result is usually a day of meetings with little measurable result... but "Quality!"

@SlowlyButSurly is it at least quantified into something measurable? Or is this a nebulous feel good session?

@Demolishun maybe? It was organized around workshops - the 1st I went to was asking for issues/suggesting fixed. The second was "what do you think "compliance" means!?!! I expect nothing to happen so... "nebulous feel good session" :/
