I just rewrote a linq-2sql query which cut the execution time down from 17 minutes to 20 seconds! I felt like a genius for all of five seconds, until I realised it was me who had written the original query... Now I don't know if I'm an idiot or a genius...

    that's the thing about programming. you are always learning new and hopefully more efficient methods. call your old self an idiot and now you can classify yourself a genius 😁 haha good job !

    old project running old code, still in production and not enough money for big rewrites. I see us running Ling2sql for the foreseeable future in this project. In other words, plenty of opportunities for me to to feel like a genius/idiot :)
