What the fuck is up with job ads for "software engineer" that don't list the tech stack or even the actual product you'd be working on. I get it that it's some shitty external HR companies but are they even trying?

Also half the fullstack positions that don't even list the front stack. "Looking for a backender that will also cobble together some mess for the front, we don't give a shit". And then half of professional software is virtually unusable.

    Also those stupid HRs who send you messages on linkedin saying i saw your profile you seem a perfect fit and then when you ask for a job description, you realise you have never worked in that programming language or that field.
    I freelanced for a company that had unity in its name and now i always get VR based job offerings 🤦🤦

    @coldfire
    Yeah, or an offer from another city (without even explaining what the position is) "But what if it's a hybrid position". Fuck off, it's 5 hours away.

    In some cases this is done intentionally in teams which have multiple projects going and need a new dev but it's flexible and this new dev could decide which project to work on.

    So not always a sign of chaos. Could be that they are like "we need one dev who can handle our DB and one of our systems - but it's up to their skill set which one that could be"
