    well, let's agree, if you use those kind of setups, at least your subconscious, wants to look like a hacker or receive those comments from non-term people hahaha (I'm with you though xD)

    Only two kinds of people use green on black terminals:
    1. People who want to look / feel like hackers.
    2. My interns, who got used to ugly colors.

    @Noob or it was the default on my OS. And admit it, it does feel kind of cool and it's easy to read!

    I use Green on Black because I like the combination, also, it's more visible than white on black, blue on black and red on black

    @Noob I don't agree. If you use a lightgreen(not too light) on a dark grey terminal it simply looks awesome. And not just because people think it's hacker like.
    But very light green on pitch black, yes that's ugly.

    @LuPaw obviously you can tune the colors to not burn your eyes every time you glance at the screen.
    I just imagined him using the default green'n'black.
