Guys I finally did it!
I installed Mint!
Formatted my entire drive and installed it.

And thus the young grasshopper begins his long journey

@LeFlawk I actually had that but didn't understand anything. So, yeah. Mint.

Oh boy, Mint is amazing so far. I'll share my experience in further rants.

@LeFlawk Then on to Void

I went Ubuntu -> Mint -> Arch -> Manjaro -> Fedora.
I like Fedora alot very stable.
I used arch but i can't depend on it for my day to day work. Bleeding edge is fun to toy with but it bleeds to much. It is very good to learn with though.😪

Anyways stick with mint for a year or so, learn and enjoy it.

@Torbuntu hasn't Mint discontinued it's KDE version?

I just reinstalled Ubuntu 17.04. Had 17.10 but Wayland sucks. Really only needed for choosing and novel writing. Debating going to Mint because the desktop looks great. Solus was recommended to me as well. We shall see.

@PrivateGER in my experience, you learn linix by diving headfirst into the difficult stuff and spend hours trying to find your way back to the surface of understanding things

@Ashkin Kde Mint 😍 but 18.4 gonna be last version of it. They're dropping Kde 😕. @wiredgecko @privateGER

@Thewebdev @privateGER @Ashkin @wiredgecko 18.3 not 18.4 . Just a next release will be last one. 19 will be based on 18.04. for more explanation read their blog why. In short kde is different then mate,xfce, cinnamon mostly because of libraries and kde use qt and all those use gtk so..

@Ashkin go with kubuntu or neon. If arch fan antergos and Manjaro is there too 😄 for stability mint was better than kubuntu. I like their update manager so I'm just gonna add ppa in any os I might move on to. Neon is promising so I might change after 18.04 base with 5.12 plasma LTS 🙂
