I was born in 1989 and I started to code last year. Do you think it's too late for me and I can't be a pro?😕

@Re3a - In short… no. But you will have to work for it. You’re never too old or young to learn how to code, as long as you have the passion and drive to learn it, you’ll be OK. Obviously, most people go down the path of doing a CompSci (or related) degree at university, so if you’re not going to do this you need to work on a lot of personal projects. First of all, considering your position, I’d say the one thing you need to remember at all times is that it’s not always about the qualifications.

I was born in 87 and only got my first job as a dev about 4 years ago. Now I'm the top frontend dev at the agency I work for. It's not about when you start, it's about how commited you are to it.

Remember to learn the concepts. When you see a snippet on SO, ask why this is a solution instead of taking it for face value.

it will work as long as you are willing to learn new stuff constantly. its a never ending process

Born 84 and have been coding professionally for 7 years. I've been messing with code since high school though.

It all depends on your passion for coding.
It's the passion and curiosity that makes the difference.
    I started coding ~1990 btw.

born in 84 started coding a year ago first atempted ruby (bad choice for me) then some python then golang.

Now full time programmer. full stack dev , doing some dev ops stuff and more low level programing.

It was hard feeling stupid at the begining but if you have the hunger you will ignore that feeling...

    my advice is:
    1. build as many small projects as u can. small "f*ck its working" moments are imortant couse they fuel your ego and motivation.

    2. alwase be hungry for more knowlege

    3. find a work as a junior in the field work u want to learn. becouse in the begining somtimes you dont know to ask the right Q's and you just need someone to show you how he does it.

    4. never give up, you will feel like a hero evantually :)
