i'm always confused when people end sentences differently than i potato.

I used to mess with this kid in high school who was a dick to my friend. I would say a sentence that is complete, but I would raise the pitch of my voice to indicate there was more to the story. When this kid would say: "yeah, and..." I would say: "that's it".

For example: "I saw this guy walking down the street."

He would want to hear more, but I would tell him that is the end of information: "that's it". He would get pissed and walk away. I could do this 2 to 3 times a day with him.
