I feel stupid when I have trouble calculating how big a UPS I need to keep my NAS from just dying during a power outage instead of safely powering off

Then I just dont bother getting one... and get pissed off next time it happens and the cycle continues

Now I have other stuff I'd want to get a UPS for too and the math is even worse for my tiny brain

I would just go 1500 VA and use other stuff on it. It only needs to stay up long enough to properly ride bumps and shut off because something crashes. I got mine to ride bumps and keep a server up. It is prob overkill, but it has replaceable batteries.

@Demolishun what brand did you go with?? I often look at cyber power just because so many models are compatible with https://networkupstools.org/ so I can feed info into my home assistant
