My Rig: CS24-NV7 dual Operon with 64GB of RAM. Onboard SATA RAID is crap, so added a Dell PERC5i. Total cost : around £240 without disks. Purchased the server from a "Bargain" store in UK (not sure if commercial links can be posted in dR) and the PERC5i+cables from eBay. ESXi is free! Works like a charm. If someone wants pics, let me know.
