@Stuxnet
Or he could've studied in a country like Norway, where tuition is free. -
How do you not expect a windows update in this day and age?
-
@hubiruchi if only my wife'd say that

Correct horse battery staple changed my attitude towards passwords. Randall was right, I've never forgotten it.
We've grown up with these ridiculous requirements so we've been brainwashed into thinking it's The Right Way. Set password length to 16 and remove all other requirements. -
@arraysstartat1 He never said anything about any browser being correct, the title says clearly it's about creating a div that renders _differently_ in each browser.

You sound so much like a conspiracy theorist it's almost scary.
You got a discussion, but we could've had a GOOD discussion. -
I'll order some crackling red LEDs then.
-
I use LibreOffice on Windows, what does that make me?

-
@psukys Different collection types from different libraries.
-
Wait, properties can't be made into extension methods. I don't have my laptop in front of me, so I can't check on it myself currently. Or in the near future, I don't have one right now and I ordered a new one which won't arrive until late June.
-
I guess it's an extension method on LINQ if you have it in your usings?
-
Arrays don't have Count, use Length on those.
-
Is it a List or an IEnumerable? For lazy loading reasons you need to use Count() for IEnumerables, on a List you can just access Count.
-
I like it, but I feel that the right section is just a tiny bit too cluttered. I think making the 12w slightly more subtle will be enough. Give the ++ and -- a bit more breathing space.
Other than that, A+! -
Microsoft is so big the different sections can almost behave like completely different companies. Good stuff: C# language team, .net core team, vscode team, azure. Bad stuff: everything else.
I'm neutral on Xamarin. I like the idea, but I've never worked with it. -
Awesome! Congrats!
-
So, you're looking for work then?
-
The amount of wasted time (and thus money) is absolutely staggering!
-
TheDailyWTF had a "disgruntled employee" contest a couple of years ago, where you'd send in code a laid off developer could write before leaving.
An honourable mention was a single liner in C# to redefine String.Empty as a whitespace. -
You can be both! Those options aren't mutually exclusive.
-
@Proximyst Bouvet Majorstuen.
-
Start giving them intervals instead.
"This will take between two weeks and nine months."
This'll tell them to get their shit together and be more specific with their descriptions. Note: only works for salaried in-house devs. -
Get kids! You won't need to set an alarm for years!
-
They're not worth your energy, ignore them and move on.
-
You're successful the second you've taken your hobby and made it into your profession.
-
I just realized my stupidity. I wondered why "rant" didn't show in the tags field, but I saw the big red rant button as just "make a new post" and ignored the other buttons which I thought of as other features.
I'll fix this mental bug in the future at least.
