+1 for the quit.
-
Umlaute...
Unicode anyone? -
"Yo Boss, remember that deadline we have? You can kiss that goodbye. For about 3 years." - "ZOMFG WOOT?" - "Ask IT"
Seriously, it would more efficient and cost effective to simply replace a devs machine than waste so much of their time... Who authorizes such nonsense? -
3 months no pay. Email from CEO:
"I would like to invite you all to the opening of my wife's new riding hall. No worries, Sausages and a cold drink will wait for you."
Nice when you don't even have gasoline to actually go to work, let alone pay your rent. My reply: "I'd like to Inform you that I am on my way now to the court to start a bankruptcy and fraud suit against you the company." -
Just go to the CEO with an amount of $ this waste of time will cost each day.
-
well if it took 10 days, that does not reflect well on anyone involved...
-
Which IDE do you use, or yet better: do you use an IDE at all?
-
Well work for another company then... not like you signed with blood or anything.
-
That's what Debug mode and Breakpoints are for.
-
Look for smth else or start your own thing.
-
Thats what the devs told me... only thing they actually tested was a REST call that is made from the backend to the Business Logic provider. Not the POST itself.
-
I know all of this ;)
And CSRF we are adressing right now! -
@WannabeCalvin The braces are on the right edge of the picture..
-
Rather blame it on that humungus USB Stick... should it up the designers anus to make him feel what a waste of space he designed.
-
@linuxxx as I said, it's my personal opinion. What ever works for you man...
-
Or "counting the brackets, which one did I not close?"
-
Stick to Java. Kotlin and Scala are only compatible, but not the real deal.
-
Story of my wife.
-
in reference to yesterday's rants:
sudo debug this for me - Ok. -
There's a term for that: megalomania.
-
We do TDD. Why are there no Unit tests? - *gets up and walks away*
-
I just don't find this particularly funny :D
Linux is not suitable for Desktop work. Servers? love it. Everyday Tasks with half baked DEs? Not so much. This is where the fun ends.
Not discussing, just stating my personal opinion, which must not necessarily be in confirmity with everyone else's :) -
I want to work, not waste time with system tasks that should run by default.
-
Magento is actually a full fledged CMS and Online Shop System. So what's wrong with that?
-
Sounds like outage of the hosting service. Nothing you can do, grab a beer and go home.
-
My point exactly!
-
and emacs is not a Burger for nerds.
-
forgot a ;.
Dammit. -
I'm a programmer.
-
time to start packing.
