@molaram I was just about to ask whether he directly attached the raise to the email.
-
@bittersweet what about chaotic neutral? That has always been my favourite. Committing murder just... Because *shrugs*
-
@chabad360 Yeah, it has practically become my companion and abolished all physical paper. Still happy with it after three years
-
@jbrandona119 I'm curious to hear about your experiences with the keebio. Do the extra keys make a difference?
-
Damn, is that a panther down there?
-
@Lensflare cause I have to work with colours all day long, my friend.
-
@jbrandona119 yeah, it's a corne. It has aliaz silent switches
-
@Jilano I found out I use a lot of smaller windows plus I have a love for vertical screens. When I have to, I can extend the window over both screens. Together with some virtual desktops it works pretty well for me. But I might be weird...
-
@netikras haha, did not notice actually before you mentioned it. Actually I find it works surprisingly well... If you don't mind the gap between the screens. I suppose I'm the type of person who would actually buy a square monitor just to add another square just to find out I created another rectangle screen...

That's interesting. We are evaluating both matrix-synapse and mattermost as replacement for slack.
Everybody, please share your thoughts and experiences. Thanks! -
Read 'escorts tracker' and thought it was a nice idea 😂
-
@ainsclark looks very promising. Bookmarked. Will give it a shot in my next project.
-
Or as a villain I'd go for ...
Root
Of all Evil
(My sidekick is Sudo) -
@possum batchman?
-
FooBar would make a great name I think...
-
Missing a tl;dr ... But, yes, I have had those thoughts as well. Maybe our sense for "higher beings" (god's, spirituality, whatever you want to call it) is just some sort of emergency shut down mechanism just like what is being discussed with AI and such these days. To make sure we're ready to obey once they decide to end their experiment?
After breakfast thoughts... -
@irene sometimes that someone even only think they need what they pay for ...
-
Shit, you're a goddamn badass motherfucker!
Have a nice weekend! -
@PreyK yes, sure man 😂 so it's a feature, not a bug.
-
@devTea yeah, that's a smart choice when targeting professionals. Things these people absolutely don't need is a lot of different ports to connect peripherals easily or using a mouse 24/7. I've been in client meetings while this piece of shit finally refused its task. Then explain your client that you cannot continue the online tour because you need to CHARGE your mouse...Well, thanks Apple!

Somebody able to decode the avatar? This should be possible, right? 'Reverse-engineering' of algorithm-generated avatars should be fun
-
@OPM46 because Google found out you're a developer 😂😂😂
-
@fml89 okay, you need to follow me back on order to msg you,thanks
-
@fml89 again, thank you! Sounds like great advice. Could I get in touch with you? We have covered most of our problems now but we're running into some other deadlines and I think we'd better be off with some paid support. Are you interested?
-
@segfault0xff that's what I just thought 😂
-
Write down the things that need to be done and send them to the client to confirm. If he changes his mind later on, you simply bill twice the work. That's the only way of educating these clients.
And yes, we all forget or think the first step is not necessary, especially when the task is urgent. -
That's why I never rush to answer if something 'urgent' comes in. Usually it can be fixed one hour later very easily once everybody has calmed down.
-
@fml89 thank you, that sounds like great advice.
I'm working with 1.9.x
I was hoping there is a way of overriding the core without breaking update compatibility. 👍
It's not rt rounding issues but in general, it might be the reason because the customer wanted to save on the template so we went for one from template monster and I think they just 'fixed' things by hardcoding them in different places.
I'm from Germany as well, bzw and yes, were the masters of legislative regulations 😆 -
@fml89 I'll give it a try once I have recovered from the fact you need to fix things in its CORE files just to get the discount and tax calculations right...But yes, its the community edition.

@ilPinguino unbelievable this seems to be the de facto standard for a serious web shop...
