I have a doggy! His name is Cashew.

Sorry to hear man, but why immediately wanting to go on a dating site thing ? I hope you're not trying to replace the feeling of having a relationship asap. That usually doesn't end well..
-
It depends on where you live and how flexible company's around you are.. I started coding In March cause I decided I wanted to be a front end developer so I made some work. Like a sample of a responsive web design, a landing page with video background and some other simple component and I just applied to the company near me who had a position open for the past few months. I just applied for an internship tho so that way I gain experience without them "wasting" money on me. Guess I got lucky cause I now work at a super flexible and chill company that's only a couple meters away from my house. And I'm learning a lot of stuff and expect my contract within 3 months! 😁

Muse !
-
@zlice I'm in a relationship and I'm very happy 😋 sad that you haven't seen one I guess.
-
@zlice so salty, who hurt you ? 😋 a relationship is very far from controlling one another.
-
Me every time I use javascript
-
I mean... my partner is 1 year older than me and started coding earlier but hes on medior level now while I'm not even a junior. But I started this year.. doing an internship now. I feel like I'm a slow learner but at the same time I have learned a lot in the past month even. I'm really excited what the future holds tho instead of letting the lack of knowledge get me down :) no need to compare yourself. Just keep going !
-
@Albertini I suppose that would be more cosy!
-
@linuxxx well I'll always have lights 😋
-
@girlwhocodes women should step more to the tech side! I feel like they're scared of it. I recently changed to wanting to be a front end developer after years of finding code "scary" and I'm loving it! Landed a Internship and now trying to learn as much and fast as I can to become a junior developer
-
I work on a mac on my work and I have windows at home.. and my phone is android but I also have apple airpods. Lol
-
@norman70688 maybe. I just didn't feel comfortable moving straight Into a javascript framework without knowing actual javascript..
-
@FinlayDaG33k I'll probably go to that soon when I understand it better 😂
-
@FinlayDaG33k thats true, i try to do it as often as I can while working on personal projects lol. But I forget mostly (with my css) so I need to get better at it. My javascript is so full of comments... it seems like there are more comments than actual code lol.
-
Im Dutch too but I never add Dutch comments in my code file hah. Funny to see.
-
I wanted a cooler version of my name which is Kyara and I used to have a tumblr where I was called Kiralin. It made me feel cool 😂 and now it's just how I like to be called on the internet basically. Nothing more to it heheh.
-
@Stocken I'll check it out!
-
@Santaclauze well I do know html and scss pretty well as ive spent some time rebuilding websites and also some fun little projects. Now I'm just trying to implement javascript when I can. The hardest part is understanding everything you're writing. But I practise daily now. My work requires knowledge of jquery , but I wanted to learn vanilla javascript first to understand better. Same for understanding html and css better before I move to something like bootstrap.
-
@Setherizor never heard of him. I can check him out!
-
@watidonteven Hahaha yes 🤣
-
I told my mom I'm learning javascript and she was like "ohh! I know java. I used to use it all the time!"... she probably doesn't *actually* know either of them lol.
-
@policyoftruth omg yes
-
When I was a kid I always wondered if it was real hahah. It's quite funny how they represent hackers in such series
-
@arazzz yeah that's true! And yeah. As a beginner everything just feels so far far away. In a few months I'll probably be coding in jquery with no problem heheh.
Good luck to you on your journey though! -
@arazzz it's probably a never ending journey! I'm an intern as front end developer right now and I have to know jquery as soon as I have a bit of understanding about what I'm doing in javascript! But In the future I wanna learn react and angular as well as they're popular. So I have a lot to learn heheh. But that also makes it fun (sometimes 😂)
-
Didn't say that someday would be soon :p
@confusedGuy-sh -
@DeadInside digging in every day for the past week ! Trying to keep my head up and take in all the information even though its a lot hahah. I'll be good at it someday!
-
I started one two days ago as a front end developer !
