Is that the Windows 11 logo on your screen? You must be a time traveler.
-
If you are using windows, and you have a laptop or a desktop with WiFi, and your display is a TV that supports mirracast the wireless display function in Windows tends to work sometimes.
-
Maybe companies who produce phone that can't hold up to their day to day (ab)use radiate arrogance
-
Isn't that a bit Farfetch'd
-
@Fast-Nop no, no one is better off with Quora. Unless you like creating accounts and installing apps for no good reason
-
@devnulli They say that in the IPv4 version.
But as @sbiewald commented, there is no difference. -
Have you tried the IPv6 version?
It has color -
Then I realize, my USB doesn't have a flashing light
-
But I need IE 6
-
@mr-user but then you have the joy of reinstalling/fixing what was broken.
This reminds me, I need to reinstall Windows. -
I'm fine with many to many
-
@StopWastingTime Quora is the worst is is literal cancer. Nothing really works to fix it's problems, and when you finally give in and create that fucking account with a throwaway email, it forces you to there fucking app after 5 minutes. I DO NOT WANT YOUR FUCKING APP ON MY PHONE!! Especially when you have a perfectly fine mobile friendly website.
-
@Parzi sometimes the rest can be fixed by setting your browser user agent to googlebot
-
I agree with @24th-Dragon, YouTube Vanced is amazing and easy to set up
-
I wanted to go with CentOS for mine, so naturally I installed Ubuntu
-
@Linux What's unproductive about waiting hours to install updates? Just to have your os or drivers broken.
-
But it has no Windows. How can you do anything productive with it? Everyone knows you need Windows do do anything useful.
-
@Demolishun I don't have a link to the article but I've read a few months ago that it has MORE telemetry and spying than chrome. But do your own research if you're really into that.
-
@asgs But has it ever helped anyone?
-
@asgs The same one that checks online for solutions as for why your internet isn't working?
-
@alexbrooklyn Nope, I will take a look at that. Then again, blocking whole countries is never a bad idea
-
@AlgoRythm Since I switched to Linux I run SSH with public key authentication and Denyhosts
-
@alexbrooklyn But then you give up on convenience
-
I don't really know anymore it's a long time ago when I did this on my home server, when that was still running Windows Server instead of Linux.
I guess I googled something like `Chinese ISP IP ranges` or something like that.
Then I used a PowerShell script to import it in Windows Firewall. I think you can do this in Bash and ufw or iptables too -
Blocking all Chinese IP ranges does really help with this. You can easily find firewall lists online.
-
@ralnivar Now if you happen to not have a life you can open the thing up, find a serial connect or and get a Linux terminal.
Or you can get a new router. -
You don't have to get a new one if you happen to have some free time.
The thing probably has, like most routers now, a recovery mode that allows you to reflash. But first give the 30/30/30 reset a try, should reset everything to factory settings. -
@Haxk20 To be honest I only had a problem once or twice. But a little while ago I switched to Solus, so I am not even an Arch user anymore.
-
@gajahterbang
Hi I am an Arch Linux user. If you switch from Ubuntu to Arch you can have this kind of fun every time you update. -
And the answer is: A headphone jack
