It's ES6 with static typing like in Java or C# and some other little nice stuff.
-
What do you use then? Plan CSS?
-
Currently I'm mostly working on the backend and sometimes I feel like are frontend devs have no fucking idea of what they are actually doing. The UX is horrible af and so much just does not make any sense (UI flow etc.).
And the code style.....I don't even want to begin talking about this. -
@Gianlu i think i have about 20 projects which are registered on wakatime
-
Looks really nice. Currently the project site really likes to crash😂 but probably I have just too many projects
-
I ordered them just last week and today i received them.
-
@ChlorideCull just google for jetbrains sticker and then you should find a site of stickermule, where they sell stickers for everything (IntelliJ, ReSharper, CLion etc.)
-
At least you are you using Kotlin😂😂
-
@Bubbles you're welcome💪🏼
-
@Bubbles It's IntelliJ with the Material Theme UI plugin and a custom editor style😏
-
Tsss

Why should they use angular on a website that nearly only is there to present their documentation? There is no reason to use angular there.
-
@thmnmlst none of the animations are unneeded they have all their purpose and they are all there because it makes sense and it is very pleasing to the eye and makes a good ui self-explanatory.
-
@thmnmlst Why do you hate it? I love it. The best design guidelines i have ever seen.
-
@J4s0n yeah you can cusromize eclipse very well but i don' t want to spend hours of setting up an environment. I also have customized intellij a lot but it is set up within some minutes and then I have what I want. At everyone should use the tool they enjoy to use and this point is missing when I use eclipse. Only the lack of a good dark theme in eclipse is a reason not to use eclipse for me personally.
-
@J4s0n what is the right way and I used it nearly one whole year.
-
@J4s0n kind of everything😂
-
@linuxxx I don't think that closed source software blocks innovation. Probably it blocks innovation outside of the company which is developping it but projects like intellij have a lot of innovation in terms of plugins and addons. You can still customize intellij a lot witb your own plugin if you want. And if you are interested there is a community edition of intellij which is in fact open source.
-
@linuxxx haha nice that you are trying it out
I trust JetBrains that they don't betray their users even it isn't open source.
And to be honest you don't really know whether some linux open source distros do some shady things bc you wouldn't even have enough time to look at all the code.
If I am completly wrong please correct me, I am open to change my opinion 😉 -
@linuxxx so then I need an explanation why you prefer NetBeans...
-
I like the walrus syntax more.🙃
-
It really depends on the application. For large business applications with a lot of data i would use java or especially the spring framework. But it does not make sense to use java for small applications so then you can use expressjs for node. There are also plenty of good PHP frameworks out there, I really like CakePHP. But I can't speak for python bc i never worked with it.
-
I prefer the OOP style
-
Ahh yeah the best part was that i got a vm with everything set up for the project and they used eclipse and nothing like maven or gradle. Me personally i hate eclipse and use IntelliJ all the time and so I had the pleasure to add about 100 libraries in different locations manually to the IJ project to work at least a little bit😂.
The whole code is full duplicates and just bad code all over the place and I have the feeling that things like DRY, SRP or KISS didn't exist in 2004🤔. -
@whocareswhoiam the best about it is that my project has little documentation and the old devs tought it would be a great idea to not use JavaDoc or even comments so I have to debug nearly every single line to really understand what it is doing😓😓
The whole project is just the worst thing I've ever seen in terms of clean code. -
@rayanon awesome thx😄
And for explanation: the doof in windoof means something like stupid in german😉 -
@java9 omg i am not the only one😍

@carvaka OMG I am not the only one who red this book. I don't feel lonely now. I love the book :D
-
I personally think that Angular 2 is much simpler than Angular 1.x and I never heared a good argument against Angular 2🤔🤔
