@deadlyRants will it give it a try again then :D
Thank you. Atom has quite a lot of memories attached. -
@ynnk any reason why? Just curious
-
@practiseSafeHex in my experience, and I could be wrong, atom started slowing down quite a bit after a year. Have been working with VSCode since 2 years now and haven't experienced any performance issues yet.
-
@AlmondSauce true, but I feel GCP could start gaining traction if they made their services feel a bit more stable
-
@jespersh hahahah! That post didn't include the image for some reason, so had to repost it.
And we've never had the opportunity to work with Azure, at least not in my current workplace, so no judgement to be passed on it via memes -
@olback give it a go. My go to framework will always be angular though.
-
@thatsnotnice that's not nice
-
@olback don't get me wrong, I *love* angular, but angular is just too time consuming to set up for a simple application
-
@rootshell seems interesting, will give it a go.
Thanks! -
Everytime I take up a front-end project, I always have to endure multiple research tasks to convince the new project lead that why we should use just minimalism because that will never ever go out. And having new design standards popping up every 2 days doesn't help matters.
-
Why no nano, it's so nice ._.
-
@CaptainCompile yes but maybe in the future we'll maybe just need UI designers and such. There's already AWS API Gateway to service backend
-
Clients
-
@aldoblack apologies
-
@px06 was reading their documentation for NGINX load balancing using compute engine. The commands there were deprecated, found the new commands on some random blog.
Even their documentation for the Google cloud platform API was lackluster -
@mab07 I feel you brother. Fellow MU not-yet-graduate-coz-mu-lost-my-papers here.
-
Mumbai University?
-
@b3b3 yea. Should have mentioned that I guess.
-
Overload the servers
-
@arshijafri I know, I don't get Indian education. We churn out a shitload of IT engineers who know fuckall
-
@IsDevEasy India bro, we value mugging up over applying that knowledge
-
@arshijafri India is a horrible place to learn programming in institutes. We all learn on our own
-
I was taught C programming on turbo C... When there were perfectly good IDEs right there... But no, we aren't supposed to because all industries use turbo C apparently
-
@200OK I don't, but we were taught web development on dreamWeaver for 4 years in college and I saw no one uses it here in my workplace
-
@unfuckers-inc jQuery *does* spiral out of control. Bloody annoying at times.
And thank you for your in detail opinion, cleared my mind a lot!
Will be learning multiple tools now, so I can clearly identify which framework to use when... It's time to break out of just jQuery -
@Voxera I'll agree on the jquery being dated statement. It does feel a bit old now,
That being said. It is just so comfortable... Though one has to break out of their comfort zone to learn 😅
Will also read up on react... Seems interesting -
Story of every college placement here in India. Sab madarchod hai.
-
@linuxxx I'm trying to ;(
-
@CWins I'd rather stay open-minded 😅
-
@k0pernikus will take your advice, thank you!!
