This is something I never really thought about. I think GCP has a data transfer from AWS -- but it sounds like that can just make you more dependent if external entities are using AWS.
-
I just say "null" if they require something.
Zoom is now doing this shit too. -
@sariel my manager was all about upgrading. He was actually able to convince up management. But then he left. Now I'm pretty much in your shoes.
We talk about about what we did yesterday, and now I often feel like nobody really cares. And now I don't really care. -
It's just a shitty place to be in, when you have someone that wouldn't leave you alone for 5 minutes without questions. My manager had to get involved to get him to work independently. Twice.
...only to end up with this. My manager left about 3 weeks ago. Fucking shitty deal.
Well. That's a rant! -
@ComputerToucher damn dude. Thought I had it rough.
-
Maybe he's secretly ranting about you ranting on devrant
-
I'm interviewing because the pay sucks -- and your opening line makes me die inside.
-
ABSTRACTION!
-
I actually have not heard a response. Some questions asking me to clarify what data I saw, but that was it.
Don't think that was the appropriate response. -
Disagree.
-
People that do that are assholes. Respect my decision to filter content.
-
That's not fun at all!
-
@TheSilent I use KeePassXC as well. I use a yubikey for a password. Password problems solved.
-
@TheSilent that's what I use with a Yubikey.
-
I have witnessed this.
One of many "last straws" before i went full time nix. -
Print("ass")

Print("butts")

Print("big butts")

Print("ass butt") -
I use a pattern of my card numbers/exp date to remember my pin. I just remember the pattern and apply a slightly modified on other cards.
That way I just look at my card number to get the pin. -
Adding to a queue should put you last -- queues are FIFO.
-
I love when things like this happen. I'd pay money to see it
-
I do this a lot. I need the kotlin.
-
I guess I just see the problem differently.
If you zoom something, you need to have constraints on too small/too large. So you have a range.
If you have a range, a slider can help with that. -
@alexbrooklyn that made me lol.
-
Also, it looks like devRant scaled that image down, sorry.
-
My team is... lacking.
-
I love when people post bugs in-the-wild. I absolutely love it.
-
@ganey yes. Why is it that MBP hide the escape key... This is not what God intended.
-
This is how I feel when I see string concatenation.
"Let's go though each item" + " AGAIN" -
Use BMP

@gitpush the only time I assume some condition is when i assume it's invalid and "prove" it otherwise with the logic following afterwards.
-
@Fast-Nop I could get behind that honestly. You could give labs for sorting 10k ints and really see which algo/implementation is the best.
