IMHO or they are incompetent or not transparent.
Could you share the company name?
I'm asking to add it to my personal list of shame. 😈 -
Do the servers have documentation?
I'm not able to see the relation between the lack of documentation and using or not docker. -
A binary tree is a tree that is exclusively masculine or feminine. 🥁

Multi cursor is an amazing invention.

"Faulty generalization – reach a conclusion from weak premises. Unlike fallacies of relevance, in fallacies of defective induction, the premises are related to the conclusions yet only weakly support the conclusions. A faulty generalization is thus produced." Copied from Wikipedia. =]
Hasty generalization I guess.
Probably he's just a stupid asshole looking for attention. -
Good luck and have fun!

@BlueZ I suggest that you write a MVP(minimum viable product) with whatever technology you know or want to try.
The most important part is having a MVP and clients. -
Find companies from the same field that have APIs then write a wrapper so the user can use your API instead and get data from all of the APIs easily.
Since competitors don't follow the same API structure you will need to deal with those differences but your user's won't have this problem.
Example:
* a service that allows users from different banks to do a specific thing.
* a service that creates and handles offers in multiple marketpaces such as Ebay and Amazon.
Please don't forget me when you get rich.

Yeap, AMD threadripper looks cool but I also think they won't create the next thing.
Let's see what ARM and RISC-V has to offer in a few years. -
That also works in ruby. Quite useful for debugging.

I like the QAs that don't have a clue about how to write software but still give suggestions about how to write it.

The love of bad parents...

@WildOrangutan then go wild and enjoy the trip my friend.
-
Since it's your first installation I wouldn't suggest you go wild on the first attempt unless you have lots of experience dealing with the problems that might occur or a lot of time.
Not what you asked but I suggest some tilling window manager. They are so cool!
BTW Good luck mate! -
I think it really depends on the individuals though.
A few risks:
* Free lifetime changes.
* Lose Friendship.
* Awkwardness -
Do your parents pay for your servers?
That's neat! I wish I had parents like that!
I need to pay my own bills. :'( -

I drink water once is a while. I strongly advice you to try it.
