@620hun I don't think you are understanding the point I'm trying to make.
The fact that 99% of users wouldn't care about that is besides the point, this rant is not about the use of frameworks vs vanilla...
@620hun This rant isn't a justification for using any technology you want just because you want to, obviously your architecture should be well thought out to meet the project's requirements. It's a rant about overly opinionated developers who can't help saying "why did you use X, you should have used Y" for no reason other than their own personal preferences.
Just get involved! Hackathons are great for learning new things. Don't be afraid to talk to people and ask people to explain stuff to you. Most importantly have fun :)
All depends on your morals, if you don't want to work for a company like that then don't.
Although I'd recommend doing the phone interview regardless, it'll give you more experience in interviews and you always have the option to turn the company down if they give you an offer.
Haopy job hunting :)
Oh man, that's bad
Completely normal, I was exactly the same when I started out.
Just don't panic, concentrate on learning as much as possible each day and don't be afraid to ask for help if you find yourself stuck.
You'll be fine :)
@thechez99 Cool! I'm working on a React web app with a Kotlin backend and today I was tasked with writing end-to-end tests.
It ended up being a right pain in the butt to get it going haha
