I am a VTU graduate. I agree with the point that they don't have the latest and the greatest tech/language in their syllabus. But I also belive that what they do have in the syllabus is not outdated, rather it is fundamental computer science. Trust me, understanding those concepts will help you in better understanding the mordern tools/language that you are going to use in the future. It also helps you understand what's going under the hood.
They "teach" computer science and not programming. -
Zooming in means zooming in everything, even the side panels. To zoom in just the code, change the font size property value in the settings file.
-
@Condor its undefined behavior actually. Different complier vendors can implement it differently.
-
@Condor wont compile. 😁
-
This is how i passed first semester.
-
This is a meme. Right.
-
@CozyPlanes sounds good.
-
How about you guys share some ideas? 😁
-
Exactly opposite for me. I have lots of free time and motivation. But can't come up with good project ideas.
-
Will you suck my dick if i convince you?
-
That's why I always ctrl+k ctrl+d before i start working on any file.
-
Such overconfidence.
-
@inaba that link doesnt talk about passing these types as method parameters
-
I guess it's the other way round, jsrant evolved from devrant
-
If a was a reference then doing a = new int[x] inside BBB would affect a inside main also, but that does not happen
-
you use the ref keyword if you want to pass the reference, otherwise a copy of the reference is passed by value. Maybe your teacher was right.
-
Your compiler is giving wrong output. It should say implicitely instead of explicitely.

I guess you saw it in a woman's day themed YouTube video from girliyapa 😁

Whatever fucking suits your needs.

Same story

I am from the same university and i think the subjects that we are taught are pretty standard. The problem i think is that in most vtu colleges, the teachers are not qualified enough to explain the subjects properly.
That being said, i fully agree with you in case the subject is a programming language because the syllabus hardly contains any intermediate/advance topics. All they teach is branching, looping, "3 pillars of oop", etc. -
He made a good decision
-
@devs yes
@AndSoWeCode no, because people usually give up while learning assembly and think that programming is not their cup of tea. -
Fuck microsoft, right?......... no?
-
I was rejected by microsoft. Ummm.. I have a tough life aheah.
