@Raidhunters yeah send me a dm, my Twitter is alexdovzhanyn
-
Hey bud, how can I get in contact with you?
-
@AleCx04 @syentix Thanks for your interest guys. If you'd like to follow along, I've created a Telegram group for the project here: https://t.me/AmethystLang and the GitHub repo is located at https://github.com/alexdovzhanyn/...
-
@ganjaman devrant is 99% kids who don't make jokes about things they don't understand. Sad really
-
@Parzi yeah, you can mine elixium on its testnet currently. Mainnet hasn't been released yet
-
@Parzi @filthyranter it's a blockchain that allows for developers to run decentralized applications, you could sort of compare it to AWS for blockchain. It otherwise also features zero knowledge proofs which allows for completely anonymous transactions rather than pseudonymous as offered by bitcoin
-
@growling yessir, it's a block chain built with elixir
-
@mishaor @taigrr whoops, misspelled the address. It's https://www.elixiumnetwork.org
-
elixir is great! welcome to the community. ive been wanting to use it to build an api faker service for some time now -- the service woukd allow you to add json payloads to a url and use it for testing so you dont get rate limited
-
@freeme its a forkbomb
-
https://github.com/alexdovzhanyn
-
@catadoxa thanks! lol
-
@AleCx04 you were there? lol
-
@jonathands im really biased, because i love elixir, but yeah id say so. it has a very enjoyable development environment, the scalability and resilience are amazing, and the community is really friendly and helpful
-
@bigus-dickus ;)
-
@ThatDannyBoy @felbit yeah thats what i use
-
@felbit Terminal on the left, code on the right, websites / docs in the middle
-
@Ancalagon meh, im not really here to convince you that its better than anything. the link i posted has a readme that describes its goal
-
@rant1ng we're not building a company per sé, but the foundation behind the blockchain will be a legal entity (for the core team/anyone on future payroll)
-
@ewpratten hahah yeah totally ;) We're actually switching to a more memory-hard implementation of mining after I finish the peer to peer networking stuff, so it probably wouldnt be a great idea ahahah
-
just pipe to it...
you | /dev/null -
Here's an updated little map for all those who are interested:
-
@simulate nah i got them from http://opengameart.org, im no artist lol. but yeah for me its less about learning, more about having control over every little part of the game
-
@BigBoo thanks!
-
@BigBoo i wanted to build everything completely from scratch so i would understand every aspect of the process, plus this integrates directly with the game which will let me do fun stuff like add bounding boxes within the map editor
-
@krazy-dev using the gosu library :)
-
all im gonna say is that id highly doubt the skills of any developer who CHOOSES to use jquery in 2018
-
@K1ngjulien nah, its only a work in progress, theres still a lot to do before i publish it
-
@duckifier any errors?
-
@duckifier gotta run npm start in the web/ folder
