They're students... What money?
-
Hehe, just my 2 cent attempt at humour. In particular aimed at the NHS's most recent fuck up with their Covid tracking app and the fact that it uses an excel sheet as a database.
-
You don't happen to work for the NHS do you?
-
Hell yeah!
It's more than just a profession, it's a state of mind. -
LEARN VIIIIM!!
:P -
@tinybyte is there a difference between unit tests and test cases?
-
@jorgeosorio you can also use the Github wiki of your projects as production blogs as a way of showing your process through its development.
-
@masterdoctor see, this is like one of those terrible SO answers where the resolution is not shared.
Where's the link?! :P -
Yeah... I was talking about this to my friend today:
There are those who actually try and then they're are those who reach a satisfactory point in their learning and then just stop advancing; relying instead on their bullshitting tactics... -
Awesome. That semester abroad was the best time I had in education. So much TECHNOLOGY to mess around with!
-
You mean a Fachhochschule? I did a semester abroad at FH St. Pölten. The difference in levels is amazing! I learnt so much more there than here in England. This goddamn English uni is at such a low level I cannot comprehend... I mean that in terms of the rate of teaching and the technologies which we're taught.

Nah fuck that, 1.44MB floppy
-
Sounds worse than "Fix it in post!"
-
OH MY GIANT BIG BLUE EYES!!!
-
Edge is better. Still not quite on par though.
Recently tested my project and worked fine on Chrome and FF, it was ok on Edge but needed a little bit of tweaking. -
Flexbox :)
-
@SpencerBeige shoot at 120FPS with the lowest possible shutter speed ;)
-
@Gia85 ++ for appreciation of @Letmecode rants :D
-
And it manages your time? It has integration with Github or something to measure the commits?
-
Welcome to git :P
May your history be as clean as a baby's bottom and your commits be brief and to the point :) -
@opensource not necessarily true I'm afraid, many Europeans do
-
@darkcode probably the best response I've heard in terms of other freelancers yet!
-
NodeJS, VueJS, Laravel. All these I need for my final year project. Beyond that, Arduino or whichever language will allow me to code for sensors, rotors etc. So I can delve into Robotics :D
I want to make more variety of cool shit! -
2016 < 2017 way better!
-
@metaory I was just about to ask about that. Shouldn't be too difficult. Unreliable though I'm sure it is, due to the nature of the web?
I'm just speculating though, I haven't used one yet but I sure as hell will now! -
@h3ll haha Goddamnit you caught me :P
-
@delphiboy I travel a fair amount. My main base is England during term time (Uni Student here), but I cycle between there, Spain and Estonia quite a bit during holiday season. Then on holiday trips my girlfriend and I go wherever we please or have the money for :)
So basically, I love out of my bag and suitcase xD -
I'm surprised the OPs subconscious didn't suddenly click the minute "passwords in plain text " was even mentioned!
-
Aye!
I'm using this! -
No coffee.
My remedy:
Coke (the liquid kind) and lots of Swiss/Austrian (preferably) chocolate!
If not available then whichever is the best chocolate in the country I'm in.
This method has had me working for 3 days straight sometimes, although a LOT of chocolate would be consumed.
