@marcusp619 already brought 2 and tea packets ahah
-
@p100sch only when I'm using anything that needs the dedicated GPU. I usually work with a couple docker images, VS Code, 2 apps I'm developing running on background, Spotify, GitKraken and some tabs on Safari and it's pretty quiet. I have the base spec 2018 MBP 15".
-
@davenall It's been some months since that happened. I'm going to do it next semester and this time (hopefully) pass it.
-
@davenall I know exactly what you mean. I hate one math professor particularly due to being extremely arrongant. I flunked one math subject's final exam and when I went for the exam review he admitted my answers were indeed correct but since they were not made "his" way, he would not accept them as valid answer and did not graded them. I got so mad.
-
@davenall I only use tabs for a matter of organizing code so it's not all at the same level and appearing to be "mashed together".

@irene at my home it's usually only bright during the morning and the rest of the day it's kind of dark due to getting indirect sunlight. I have tried a selection of white and dark themes and found myself most comfortable with the obsidian theme. The same at being at work.
-
@arraysstartat1 That looks like an interesting study. I'll be sure to take a better look at it later. Thanks for this!
-
@irene Thanks for the quick response. I do the same thing with a dark theme (Usually 20-40% brightness during day and 0-10% during night) and I feel quite comfortable with it ahah. I said the increasing brightness part because that's what I have observed from my colleagues and also heard from them.
-
@irene convenient how? When you have to spend long hours in front of your screen, it tires your eyes more than a dark theme, moreover at night when you have to increase the brightness of your laptop (assuming you work on a laptop) your eyes have to do more effort to "take in" that white brightness and you can get the feeling of it sort of burning your eyes. I respect other people's choice of working environment but I don't just don't get it with Light Themes.
-
@musician I agree with your opinion. Everyone is free to work with environment they believe is best suited for them. It's just that I particularly dislike Light Themes.
