Scratch is nice to teach people the wonders of logic thinking. If they wanted to know more beyond that, they can always try their hand at a scripting language next and then a real programming language. Nothing wrong with it. If they think they're da bomb, let them be. Let them fall hard if they have to prove themselves. :)

@Kimmax Never said it was a crap system, I like Windows just fine. You have to admit though that having the background of your papers be affected by the default background of Windows Explorer is a bit... weird!

I usually use tabs. It's easy to instantly change the amount of spaces a tab should display in any good editor.
