Probably CEST , Romania , Greece , somewhere around . Basically GMT+2

Truth be told , my laptop's uptime was about 135 days until windows burned down , I just leave it on 24/7 since I remote into it from work for multiple reasons :)
-
Meh I don't know ...where I work interns are paid...125% or more minimum wage since internships are 20hours/week and most of them are students whom are still supported by their parents...I got in here as a fulltime permanent employee , so this is all what I heard while talking to guys whom were interns and finished uni the same year with(supposedly) me . They aren't bothered much if they don't want to do something but if they want they get most of my colleagues support and attention . I'm a special case inside the development zone , more of a dedeveloper to say so , and I'm really happy for it , the internship for this is hacking yourself and your neighbours wifi :))
Edit : I just remembered that one of the interns is an ex-uni female colleague of mine , all she does is talk to her bf on the phone and initiate TRUE random discussions with everyone . Dunno if that is slavery or not... -
I know the feeling :)) I take notes using ( and done blame me here , feel free to suggest something better ) OneNote and if I save at the end of the day , I end up with a giant ass file. If I don't and I have updates incoming...well autosave isn't working so...bye bye loads of stuff...

'I'm going to read documentation' is what he told me . And I tend to agree , not all of their generation is like that , just enough of it , I have another specimen who brought his own mechanical keyboard , gaming mousepad , gaming mouse and gaming headset sitting right behind me .

I feel you bro...been through so many bugs recently but apparently some break apps so badly I have to reset the db to replicate them once
-
What if...instead of hello world he manages to trigger something like an external command to rm -rf ? Just saying...
-
Clutch fullblown out of my headphones for the second day in a row , finally , no more tube chatter and rail sounds , just silent stares and mouths opening. Why haven't I done this before ?
-
@develrant I've found a couple more things since I've posted this...in a few hours I have to share my findings to the whole security team and there's a new guy in another country whom seems rather sceptical towards me...I might have to bitchslap some hakuna matata into him
-
Heh , being a teacher is enticing for those whom are dedicated to it . I think that as a teacher you have to develop yourself more in order to be able to better develop others . Good luck mate !
-
derIdentifi from the line your were in , pretty obvious on higher contrast
-
Uhm...3 beers a night and some sound sleep , I wake up with a cleared cache .
-
I personally don't mind , I think I have over 60 tabs open in one window and god knows how many in the other one , I like having each link I open from google open a new tab really , I get to have the search in that one tab and the interesting links in other tabs :))
-
That should work , you have to use Axes3D

Ikr , I was toying with that last night as well :)) didn't have time to look into it more tho , I'm getting home right now and will come back with an answer :)
-
@jakobev you could also look into hack.me challenges
-
Try out owasps webgoat , it's a pentesting training web app .
-
Huh ? What do you mean about Romania ? Most of the office buildings here are glass thingies and we have 4G everywhere ?_?
-
@SirWindfield what I meant to say is that they didn't remove anything , they just added something that can easily be ignored .
-
Meh...I choose to think that ignorance is bliss sometimes . I only noticed the change in UI , didn't even look at the status thing until I saw it on devRant , I was like...meh , not gonna ever use this... And so went my day and use of WhatsApp without giving a shit about their 'new' functionalities . I use it for texting with a couple people and that's it . WhatsApp isn't a way of life that suddenly took a sway , it's just another app . No new feature in an app should cause outrage unless with its coming a core feature of the app was removed and thus rendering it useless for a certain group .
-
@vinerz and that's why I'm bounty hunting :)))
Sometimes being a dev means having to develop/find/think of/research something new and not just copy pasting and adapting based on what others have done before you . -
Selenium with multiple drivers , I don't do these but it's just a suggestion...I've only written a full test for a basic web app(login , register , search etc. ) that runs chrome and firefox at the same time.
-
Ugh is that...comic...sans...?
-
@phuzisham meta ranting...feels like metagaming in d&d :))
-
Dude I'm glad you found a new job !
-
I liked what I did in college , what I didn't like nor ever came to accommodate with was and still is the way the teachers teach and grade . My uni has some of the oldest teachers in this country , some of them even have fucking busts and halls named after themselves . Those guys ruined it so bad...imagine that I had a systems theory course and I chose to learn from Oppenheim's courses from mit and I realised that our course was just a bad translation and interpretation of that . They failed me twice for not drawing like fucking Matlab .
-
I use kali...which is basically debian an I'm pretty satisfied with it :)
I tried ubuntu once or twice and it used to fuck with me and throw idiotical fits all the time so I went back to my tool of the trade.. -
I know the feeling , during the interview for my current job I was asked multiple technical questions about countering vulnerabilities to which I sincerely replied with 'I don't know' at which point I stated that my knowledge as a dev is pretty limited but I can learn. They stopped asking me dev questions let me demonstrate that when it comes to attacks and creating an awesome payload I'm more than able . I got the job on the 2nd interview out of 3 needed , basically on the 3rd one they just said 'congrats have a coffee and chill' .
What most people don't understand is that when applying for a job the interviewers are more likely to be interested in what you don't know and if you're sincere enough to admit and seem willing to learn . -
@lotd got the right of it , hydration is a big thing when taking productivity into consideration so...if you drink lots of coffee be sure to keep up with the water as well .
-
L Of coffee/day , doesn't really make any difference . I just like the taste . What you drink doesn't matter , as long you have a clear head and a positive attitude towards what you are doing . Maybe the beard does...but that's a myth as well .
I also drink tea and water during the same day so...
