I'm from the king of 3rd world countries, Mexico city.
My 1st salary was $3,300usd a year.
I started getting more and more, honestly it was never enough and was only doing it for money, I completely forgot about motivation, trying to have sex with my female coworkers.
One day I met a super highly motivated guy, that reminded me my passion for programming, I started taking bootcamps, diplomas, certifications and other stuff just for the pleasure of being better at what I do.
Eventually(I was not expecting that) more and more job offers started showing up, I started switching and getting involved in the business of every client I had, like, really involved, just because I wanted to know more and more, other case indifference starts showing its head.
Long story short, now I work in USA and getting a 6 figure salary, I even bought an apartment in Mexico.
Moral of the story, dude, find passion on what you do first, money will be a consequence. -
zup, this is Edu

Actually omitting the origin header with the browser(if possible) is a security threat, a big one bro!!!
And taking CORS lightly can bring your system/page down or even worse, be careful when thinking about this.
You are complaining about the tree, you need to consider the forest -
My two cents:
1) Do not use popular easy ways to "invest", I mean virtual currencies, NFT and other ponzy shit, same goes for trading(stocks, ETFs, etc), all that is just an illusion and you can loose whatever you have earned within minutes, no to mention gain won't cover inflation and taxes when you sell
About what to do, i have no fucking idea, I guess the secret is to produce/sell something, anything that gives you any gain; but this is just my guess, the classic "keep money rolling".
From my experience, I bought a house last year i Mexico city (am 40yo) and I get money from renting it (about $1,000usd a month), apart form that I have no much to say -
The effort web designers put on this page

Dude, creating forks is the standard practice, that helps to avoid creating(and forgetting to delete) and keeping tons of ghosts branches.
-
Congrats, good for you sir

Thursday is a good day(in general) I think.
is still a working day (weekend would be hell) and if anything fails you can continue tomorrow -
Is a two sided conversation my friend, if you do not complain about it (same way you did here), there won't be change, basically you are supporting it.
Now, try to imagine the teacher, what do you honestly think it would be his opinion about his students -
a basic and underestimated skill in deed

What is the horror here?

@netikras that depends on what are you planning to do with such data.
for example, let's consider this map/db/whatever it is has 10,000 rows, what would it be the bandwidth required to send those 10k rows to 1,000 users?
Again, it all depends on requirements, but, as a general good practice, data should live in BE, you can use pagination to limit the amount of data sent to the FE and even make it more efficient by caching the table(using Redis or something like that).
again, it all depends o what are you trying to achieve -
I never heard about this, I just opened the web page, looks exactly like IntelliJ, is there any significant difference?

what?

Why the front end needs to search and sort?
that's backend's work, remember, the front end just prints pretty processed data.
It would be also a waste to search and sort from every frontend invoking the url from the backend -
@DisteGina I'd like to answer I know, but I really don't. I love coding and the challenges implied.
Maybe also helps that I do not have any idea of my own to create something original -
@AmyShackles I think is like shitting in a urinal; Yes, you can do it, but is not the right place

Talking about randomness

And you thought was appropriate to post it on DEV rant?
makes sense -
Divide and conquer my friend, divide and conquer
-
is anybody forcing you?

Any change always ask "can you raise a requirement?"
that way you have explanation to the change/bug.
and you are getting paid for those -
Gosh, wouldn't it be nice that at the moment this person scolded you to just throw a fucking good slap?
That would say more than a billion words and will set him/her in the right state of mind.
damn, I think I got an erection just by thinking on this poetic justice being served, lol -
Really?
Was it a Karen?
Damn, those people keep amazing me, stupid modern issues of those who have nothing else to really be concerned -
bra, 1 day a week is ok, developers can shower on that day and feel the brease outside :)
-
Sometimes happens to me, then, I try to remember what I have and to be thankful for it(specially comparing to myself from the pat).
Gratitude(real one you get from looking into yourself) is the best tool to fight against indifference and depression bra -
lapidate the HR girl, lol

add PR review to any change to master bra

Try seeing it from his perspective, once you have that empathy, maybe you can work together on improving the inconsistencies and mistakes.
Pointing at someone else and blaming it for everything is the easy thing, what any simpleton would do, be above all that -
wait and be patient; in the meantime, learn as much as possible about the business and infrastructure as possible, that's were the real shit is, and also what will make you to stand out among others
